Steve Brown gave an education update letting us know that NAR is waiving the $175 fee for the new Short Sale certification. The live class required for the certification will likely cost around $85.
Convention 2010 will need to be rescheduled from the original March 11th and 12th dates in Springdale. The new dates will be announced as soon as they are confirmed. Early Bird registration is looking like it will be approximately $100 and for that you will receive 12 hr of continuing education, two lunches, and a dinner!
Darcy Cannon announced a change in Board Tour boundaries for the southeast and southwest tours. The maps will be included on the tour sign up sheets.
Chris Dahlin’s weather report included a surprising statistic that homes beings sold as an arms length transaction (not by a bank) have dropped in price by only about 17% whereas institutional home sales (by a bank) have dropped in price by 27%. An important figure to share with your sellers!
